Production has many forms, but it is done by people who seek to see change in the world, they might do this by opening their own business, service, building some product, etc. i.      What problems do you see, which you could solve? This is your opportunity. The cost of collecting possessions is your opportunity cost… what do you get in return? Self-Confidence and Self-Esteem take work, and sometimes work costs money, but money cannot buy self-confidence and self-esteem directly. That is the ruse, that satisfaction, serenity, and self-confidence can be purchased, at a store near you. Anything and everything truly worthwhile, takes thoughtfulness, work, persistence, and patience. People fail to make these investments of their time, and thus they are not pleased by the results. Daily Turmoil: how do we get sucked into problems and thrown into chaos? Reacting without stopping the stimulus/reaction process, interrupting it with a method of thinking Daily Life: unknowns, problems, fears, confusion, and all the things we think we “know” prevent us from effectively observing, identifying, organizing, and communicating. No idea about the history of our surroundings We lack situational awareness Function of school, culture, family We lack time management and the habit of how to get things done We therefore lack the ability to remain in integrity to do what we said we were going to do, when we said we were going to do it. Truth and knowledge Observation skills Indoctrinated into beliefs without first observing what exists in reality Curiosity Poisoned by counterfeit knowledge (schooling’s 15,000 hours of conditioning) Behavior, attitude, values, and morals are being adjusted… education does not occur. i.      Students rarely un-occult anything that was not scripted beforehand. To preface what I’m going to describe, I’ll cut to the chase of why I’m sharing it with you, and it is for this simple fact, which I’ll then elaborate upon. As you may recall, prior to filming the interview with John Taylor Gatto known as The Ultimate History Lesson, we made What You’ve Been Missing: Exposing the Noble Lie, and to this day, lisa and I get emails illustrating that the content is still fresh and people find it useful. Our intention with WYBM was to provide a video based series which would act as a platform to showcase the research and educational content of Tragedy and Hope and our partners, in such a way that could easily be shared with friends and family. In reality, we discovered that while the end result was very effective, that the time and cost of production were beyond our current abilities to be funded… so we put it on the back burner, hoping that we would see an increase in subscriptions after releasing The Ultimate History Lesson. Parallel to that, I realized the flaws inherent to the traditional “news” show presentation so commonly copied throughout our culture… and I put some thinking into how to improve the experience of consuming and digesting useful and nutritious information, and here’s what I discovered: The traditional “nightly news” model is a composite of needs, made manifest in the method of publication, so let’s observe what we’ve been consuming: We’ve learned through our life experience, through our own 5-senses, that the nightly news model is incoherent, what is shown to you depends not on educating you, but rather, events which happened to occur that day. This observation is further validated by Neil Postman, in his various books, including “Amusing Ourselves To Death” and “How to Watch TV News”. We’ve also learned that the nightly news model is out of context, aforementioned it supplies events which are not organized and juxtaposed to history, which makes each “nightly news” episode something which is disposable, and is only useful to people in the future mining for facts, and on that basis, it should consist only of facts. We can also readily observe that the nightly news model is fragmented, culling together a myriad of stories, which even if they do apply to you, specifically do not provide the information necessary to enable individuals to make informed decision, and thus is a clever deception to enable procrastination and dependence on the “nightly news” source, instead of learning how to observe, identify, remove contradictions, and take meaningful action.
